Latin Small Letter w

2017-12-04 Week 49/2017 posted by RFI

w is the single widest lowercase letter. In line with its heritage – from a ligature uu/vv –, it resembles an u with a simplified additional stroke. This makes it surpass the lowercase m which is almost always rectangular, unlike the uppercase.
