This week, Minima has been available to the public for exactly one year. opened shop on February 20, 2017 – just a few days after the final revisions to the initial version 0.2.

Just in time for the anniversary, the new version 0.3 has been released last week. It adds typographic quotes, the Euro sign and a total of 150 uppercase and lowercase variant letters for further international languages. Milestone releases such as this one are planned to continue at less-than-annual intervals and updates will be free to customers.

Buy Minima

Minima is a supersmall, sub-mini pixel font in modern vector outlines, OpenType-TrueType .ttf format. Its capital letters are based on a 3x3 pixel grid but they are proportional and highly flexible. Lowercase letters go down to 2x2 pixels without ascenders or descenders. Minima's accurate type metrics benefit word unit recognition. The nominal font size is 4px. It's the smallest font ever but it's also very rich. More than 100 languages are fully supported through letters with diacritics and other elements. Minima meets all professional standards and requirements in typography. Construction, features and the large character repertoire are state-of-the-art.
